Cashlink Hints & Tips
- Always come out of CashLink properly, by going through “exit and Backups” and then
0 to exit to DOS.
- Do not forget to verify your data regularly by going to the menu called “Exit and Backups” and then
doing the last menu option Verify data.
- Never have more than 1 copy of CashLink open at the same time
- If you get index errors when trying to repair then by doing the following.
- Get every one out of CashLink
- Go into Windows explorer.
- Go to your CashLink directory
- Find the file Called Journal.idx
- Rename the file Journal1.idx ( Do Not delete at this stage)
- Exit out of Windows explorer
- Go into CashLink
- A box title Make Index will pop up
- Press C to create a new index
- Wait for it to rebuild the index
- The box will clear it's self and the Main CashLink menu will come up.
